Information for companies and businesses interested in recruiting Maine Maritime Academy students.

Students are encouraged to sign up two weeks before the presentation, to ensure
there is interest in your organization. Web site addresses, hand out materials
and job descriptions should be sent to us to help inform and stimulate interest.
All classes and faculty are invited to attend your informational presentations. 4.
We will call you one week before your scheduled presentation time to inform you
of the number of students signed up. 5.
Interviews are arranged after the presentation for the following day. Generally
companies meet with student for about a half of an hour. Students who choose to
interview are expected to bring their resume and unofficial copy of their
transcript. 6.
To help stimulate interest, organizations are encouraged to set an informational
table up in the foyer of the Dining Hall from 11:00 am to 1:00 p.m. on the day
of the presentation. Having
your day on campus has traditionally been very successful as you can see from
viewing the companies that visited last year and those that have rescheduled for
this year. We also have scheduled our 8th annual “Informational
Job Fair” for October 23, 2008, which should attract more students to
visit organization representatives in a shorter period of time.
